17 for my (A)father fought for you, risked his life, and (B)delivered you out of the hand of Midian; 18 (C)but you have risen up against my father’s house this day, and killed his seventy sons on one stone, and made Abimelech, the son of his (D)female servant, king over the men of Shechem, because he is your brother— 19 if then you have acted in truth and sincerity with Jerubbaal and with his house this day, then (E)rejoice in Abimelech, and let him also rejoice in you.

You have murdered his seventy sons(B) on a single stone and have made Abimelek, the son of his female slave, king over the citizens of Shechem because he is related to you. 19 So have you acted honorably and in good faith toward Jerub-Baal and his family today?(C) If you have, may Abimelek be your joy, and may you be his, too!
