30 “Aren’t they still dividing the spoils of a successful battle?
    A girl or two given to every man;
Spoils of beautiful dyed cloth for Sisera,
    spoils of dyed cloth, beautifully embroidered.
Indeed two pieces of beautiful embroidered cloth for my neck.”

31 So may all Your enemies perish, O Eternal One!
    But may those who love You be like the sun,
    rising and going forth with power!

After this victory, the people knew peace from war for 40 years.

colorful garments as plunder for Sisera,
    colorful garments embroidered,
highly embroidered garments(B) for my neck—
    all this as plunder?(C)

31 “So may all your enemies perish,(D) Lord!
    But may all who love you be like the sun(E)
    when it rises in its strength.”(F)

Then the land had peace(G) forty years.

30 Have they not sped? have they not divided the prey; to every man a damsel or two; to Sisera a prey of divers colours, a prey of divers colours of needlework, of divers colours of needlework on both sides, meet for the necks of them that take the spoil?

31 So let all thine enemies perish, O Lord: but let them that love him be as the sun when he goeth forth in his might. And the land had rest forty years.
