¹¹^(A)So the land had rest forty years. Then Othniel the son of Kenaz died.

¹¹So the land had peace^(A) for forty years,^(B) until Othniel son of Kenaz^(C) died.

³¹^(A)“So may all your enemies perish, O Lord!
But your friends be ^(B)like the sun ^(C)as he rises in his might.”

^(D)And the land had rest for forty years.

³¹“So may all your enemies perish,^(A) Lord!
But may all who love you be like the sun^(B)
when it rises in its strength.”^(C)

Then the land had peace^(D) forty years.
