25 Benjamin came out from Gibeah to confront them on the second day and took down an additional eighteen thousand men from among the Israelites—right down to the ground!—all of them men armed with swords.
26 After that, all the Israelites, the entire army, went up to Bethel. There they wept and sat before the Lord and fasted all that day until evening. They offered burnt offerings and fellowship offerings before the Lord. 27 The people of Israel inquired of the Lord. (The Ark of the Covenant of God was there in those days.)

25 This time, when the Benjamites came out from Gibeah to oppose them, they cut down another eighteen thousand Israelites,(A) all of them armed with swords.
26 Then all the Israelites, the whole army, went up to Bethel, and there they sat weeping before the Lord.(B) They fasted(C) that day until evening and presented burnt offerings(D) and fellowship offerings(E) to the Lord.(F) 27 And the Israelites inquired of the Lord.(G) (In those days the ark of the covenant of God(H) was there,
