18 Also Judah took Gaza with the border thereof, and Ashkelon with the border thereof, and Ekron with the border thereof. 19 And Jehovah was with Judah; and drove out the inhabitants of the hill-country; for he could not drive out the inhabitants of the valley, because they had chariots of iron. 20 And they gave Hebron unto Caleb, as Moses had spoken: and he drove out thence the three sons of Anak.

18 Judah also took[a] Gaza,(A) Ashkelon(B) and Ekron—each city with its territory.
19 The Lord was with(C) the men of Judah. They took possession of the hill country,(D) but they were unable to drive the people from the plains, because they had chariots fitted with iron.(E) 20 As Moses had promised, Hebron(F) was given to Caleb, who drove from it the three sons of Anak.(G)
