4 For some people, who were designated for this judgment long ago,[a](A) have come in by stealth;(B) they are ungodly,(C) turning the grace of our God into sensuality and denying(D) Jesus Christ, our only Master and Lord.

5 Now I want to remind you, although you came to know all these things once and for all, that Jesus[b] saved a people out of Egypt and later destroyed those who did not believe;(E) 6 and the angels(F) who did not keep their own position but abandoned their proper dwelling, he has kept in eternal chains in deep darkness for the judgment on the great day.

New International Version
4 For certain individuals whose condemnation was written about[a] long ago have secretly slipped in among you.(A) They are ungodly people, who pervert the grace of our God into a license for immorality and deny Jesus Christ our only Sovereign and Lord.(B)
5 Though you already know all this,(C) I want to remind you(D) that the Lord[b] at one time delivered his people out of Egypt, but later destroyed those who did not believe.(E) 6 And the angels who did not keep their positions of authority but abandoned their proper dwelling—these he has kept in darkness, bound with everlasting chains for judgment on the great Day.(F)
