13 They are like the waves of a wild sea. Their sins are like the dirty water along the shore. They look like stars moving here and there. But the darkest place has been kept for them forever.

14 Enoch was the head of the seventh family born after Adam. He said this about such people, “The Lord comes with many thousands of His holy ones. 15 He comes to say that all are guilty for all the sin they have done and all the sinful things these sinners have spoken against God.”

13 They are wild waves of the sea,(A) foaming up their shame;(B) wandering stars, for whom blackest darkness has been reserved forever.(C)

14 Enoch,(D) the seventh from Adam, prophesied about them: “See, the Lord is coming(E) with thousands upon thousands of his holy ones(F) 15 to judge(G) everyone, and to convict all of them of all the ungodly acts they have committed in their ungodliness, and of all the defiant words ungodly sinners have spoken against him.”[a](H)
