10 But these rail at whatsoever things they know not: and what they understand naturally, like the creatures without reason, in these things are they [a]destroyed. 11 Woe unto them! for they went in the way of Cain, and [b]ran riotously in the error of Balaam for hire, and perished in the gainsaying of Korah. 12 These are they who are [c]hidden rocks in your love-feasts when they feast with you, shepherds that without fear feed themselves; clouds without water, carried along by winds; autumn trees without fruit, twice dead, plucked up by the roots;

New International Version
10 Yet these people slander whatever they do not understand, and the very things they do understand by instinct—as irrational animals do—will destroy them.(A)
11 Woe to them! They have taken the way of Cain;(B) they have rushed for profit into Balaam’s error;(C) they have been destroyed in Korah’s rebellion.(D)
12 These people are blemishes at your love feasts,(E) eating with you without the slightest qualm—shepherds who feed only themselves.(F) They are clouds without rain,(G) blown along by the wind;(H) autumn trees, without fruit and uprooted(I)—twice dead.
