¹⁹ Then Joshua said to Achan, “My son, I implore you, ^(A)give glory to Yahweh, the God of Israel, and give praise to Him; and declare to me now what you have done. Do not hide it from me.”

¹¹ So now, ^(A)make confession to Yahweh, the God of your fathers, and ^(B)do His will; and ^(C)separate yourselves from the peoples of the land and from the foreign wives.”

¹³ And in that hour there was a great ^(A)earthquake, and a tenth of the city fell; ^[a]seven thousand people were killed in the earthquake, and the rest were terrified and ^(B)gave glory to the ^(C)God of heaven.
