¹² Now therefore, I beg you, ^(A)swear to me by the Lord, since I have shown you kindness, that you also will show kindness to ^(B)my father’s house, and ^(C)give me ^[a]a true token,

¹⁷ Then he said to Him, “If now I have found favor in Your sight, then ^(A)show me a sign that it is You who talk with me.

^37 (A)look, I shall put a fleece of wool on the threshing floor; if there is dew on the fleece only, and it is dry on all the ground, then I shall know that You will save Israel by my hand, as You have said.”

¹⁰ But if they say thus, ‘Come up to us,’ then we will go up. For the Lord has delivered them into our hand, and ^(A)this will be a sign to us.”

³ And he gave ^(A)a sign the same day, saying, “This is the sign which the Lord has spoken: Surely the altar shall split apart, and the ashes on it shall be poured out.”

⁷ And this is ^(A)the sign to you from the Lord, that the Lord will do this thing which He has spoken:

²⁹ And this shall be a sign to you,’ says the Lord, ‘that I will punish you in this place, that you may know that My words will surely ^(A)stand against you for adversity.’
