⁴ Then all the elders of Israel gathered together and came to Samuel at Ramah,

³⁴ Then Samuel went to ^(A)Ramah, and Saul went up to his house at ^(B)Gibeah of Saul.

¹⁸ So David fled and escaped, and went to ^(A)Samuel at ^(B)Ramah, and told him all that Saul had done to him. And he and Samuel went and stayed in Naioth.

Death of Samuel

25 Then ^(A)Samuel died; and the Israelites gathered together and ^(B)lamented for him, and buried him at his home in Ramah. And David arose and went down ^(C)to the Wilderness of ^[a]Paran.

Saul Consults a Medium^(A)

³ Now ^(B)Samuel had died, and all Israel had lamented for him and buried him in ^(C)Ramah, in his own city. And Saul had put ^(D)the mediums and the spiritists out of the land.
