¹⁴ Then the boundary goes in another direction, turning on the ^(A)western side southwards from the mountain that lies to the south, opposite Beth-horon, and it ends at Kiriath-baal (^(B)that is, Kiriath-jearim), a city belonging to the people of Judah. This forms the western side.

⁹ Then the boundary extends from the top of the mountain ^(A)to the spring of the waters of Nephtoah, and from there to the cities of Mount Ephron. Then the boundary bends round to Baalah (^(B)that is, Kiriath-jearim).
