¹³ Then Joshua ^(A)blessed him, and he gave ^(B)Hebron to Caleb the son of Jephunneh for an inheritance.

² And Sarah died at ^(A)Kiriath-arba (that is, ^(B)Hebron) in the land of Canaan, and Abraham went in to mourn for Sarah and to weep for her.

²⁷ And Jacob came to his father Isaac at ^(A)Mamre, or ^(B)Kiriath-arba (that is, Hebron), where Abraham and Isaac had sojourned.

^10 (A)And Judah went against the Canaanites who lived in Hebron ^(B)(now the name of Hebron was formerly Kiriath-arba), and they defeated ^(C)Sheshai and Ahiman and Talmai.
