8 And it came to pass, when they had done circumcising all the nation, that they abode in their places in the camp, till they were whole. 9 And Jehovah said unto Joshua, This day have I rolled away the reproach of Egypt from off you. Wherefore the name of that place was called [a]Gilgal, unto this day.
10 And the children of Israel encamped in Gilgal; and they kept the passover on the fourteenth day of the month at even in the plains of Jericho.

8 And after the whole nation had been circumcised, they remained where they were in camp until they were healed.(A)
9 Then the Lord said to Joshua, “Today I have rolled away the reproach of Egypt from you.” So the place has been called Gilgal[a](B) to this day.
10 On the evening of the fourteenth day of the month,(C) while camped at Gilgal on the plains of Jericho, the Israelites celebrated the Passover.(D)
