And the [a]border descended to the [b]Brook Kanah, southward to the brook. (A)These cities of Ephraim are among the cities of Manasseh. The border of Manasseh was on the north side of the brook; and it ended at the sea.

10 Southward it was Ephraim’s, northward it was Manasseh’s, and the sea was its border. Manasseh’s territory was adjoining Asher on the north and Issachar on the east. 11 And in Issachar and in Asher, (B)Manasseh had (C)Beth Shean and its towns, Ibleam and its towns, the inhabitants of Dor and its towns, the inhabitants of En Dor and its towns, the inhabitants of Taanach and its towns, and the inhabitants of Megiddo and its towns—three hilly regions.

Then the boundary continued south to the Kanah Ravine.(A) There were towns belonging to Ephraim lying among the towns of Manasseh, but the boundary of Manasseh was the northern side of the ravine and ended at the Mediterranean Sea. 10 On the south the land belonged to Ephraim, on the north to Manasseh. The territory of Manasseh reached the Mediterranean Sea and bordered Asher(B) on the north and Issachar(C) on the east.(D)

11 Within Issachar(E) and Asher, Manasseh also had Beth Shan,(F) Ibleam(G) and the people of Dor,(H) Endor,(I) Taanach(J) and Megiddo,(K) together with their surrounding settlements (the third in the list is Naphoth[a]).(L)
