9 The side of their land then went from the top of the mountain to the well of the waters of Nephtoah. It went on to the cities of Mount Ephron, then turned to Baalah (that is, Kiriath-jearim). 10 The side of their land went around west of Baalah to Mount Seir. It went on to the north side of Mount Jearim (that is, Chesalon), then down to Beth-shemesh and on through Timnah. 11 The side of their land went on to the north side of Ekron. Then it turned to Shikkeron and went on to Mount Baalah and on to Jabneel, and ended at the sea.

9 From the hilltop the boundary headed toward the spring of the waters of Nephtoah,(A) came out at the towns of Mount Ephron and went down toward Baalah(B) (that is, Kiriath Jearim).(C) 10 Then it curved westward from Baalah(D) to Mount Seir,(E) ran along the northern slope of Mount Jearim (that is, Kesalon), continued down to Beth Shemesh(F) and crossed to Timnah.(G) 11 It went to the northern slope of Ekron,(H) turned toward Shikkeron, passed along to Mount Baalah(I) and reached Jabneel.(J) The boundary ended at the sea.
