9 The border turned from the top of the mountain to the waters of Nephtoah Spring and went to the cities of Mount Ephron. The border turned toward Baalah (that is, Kiriath-jearim). 10 The border turned westward from Baalah to Mount Seir. It passed on to the slope of Mount Jearim on the north (that is, Chesalon), went down to Beth-shemesh, and passed by Timnah. 11 The border went to the slope of Ekron on the north. The border turned toward Shikkeron, passed on to Mount Baalah, and went to Jabneel. The border ended at the sea.

9 From the hilltop the boundary headed toward the spring of the waters of Nephtoah,(A) came out at the towns of Mount Ephron and went down toward Baalah(B) (that is, Kiriath Jearim).(C) 10 Then it curved westward from Baalah(D) to Mount Seir,(E) ran along the northern slope of Mount Jearim (that is, Kesalon), continued down to Beth Shemesh(F) and crossed to Timnah.(G) 11 It went to the northern slope of Ekron,(H) turned toward Shikkeron, passed along to Mount Baalah(I) and reached Jabneel.(J) The boundary ended at the sea.
