(Debir was previously called Kiriath-sepher.) 16 [a]Caleb said, “I will give my daughter Achsah in marriage to the man who attacks and captures Kiriath-sepher.” 17 Othniel, the son of Kenaz, the brother of Caleb, captured it, so he gave him his daughter Achsah in marriage.
