15 Then he went up from there against the people of Debir; Debir was formerly named Kiriath-sepher. 16 Caleb said, “I will give Achsah my daughter as wife to the man who attacks Kiriath-sepher and captures it.” 17 And Othniel the son of Kenaz, Caleb’s brother, captured it; so he gave him Achsah his daughter as a wife.

15 From there he marched against the people living in Debir (formerly called Kiriath Sepher). 16 And Caleb said, “I will give my daughter Aksah(A) in marriage to the man who attacks and captures Kiriath Sepher.” 17 Othniel(B) son of Kenaz, Caleb’s brother, took it; so Caleb gave his daughter Aksah to him in marriage.
