6 all the inhabitants of the hill country from Lebanon to Misrephoth Maim, even all the Sidonians. I will drive them out from before the children of Israel. Just allocate it to Israel for an inheritance, as I have commanded you. 7 Now therefore divide this land for an inheritance to the nine tribes and the half-tribe of Manasseh.” 8 With him the Reubenites and the Gadites received their inheritance, which Moses gave them, beyond the Jordan eastward, even as Moses the servant of Yahweh gave them:

6 “As for all the inhabitants of the mountain regions from Lebanon to Misrephoth Maim,(A) that is, all the Sidonians, I myself will drive them out(B) before the Israelites. Be sure to allocate this land to Israel for an inheritance, as I have instructed you,(C) 7 and divide it as an inheritance(D) among the nine tribes and half of the tribe of Manasseh.”

8 The other half of Manasseh,[a] the Reubenites and the Gadites had received the inheritance that Moses had given them east of the Jordan, as he, the servant of the Lord, had assigned(E) it to them.(F)
