16 So Joshua took all of that land: the hill country, the Negev, and the land of Goshen. He conquered the lowland regions, the Arabah, and central hill country with its foothills, 17-18 from Mount Halak, near Seir, to Baal-gad in the valley of Lebanon below Mount Hermon. Wherever he went in that land—and it was a long war—he captured their kings and defeated them and executed them.

16 So Joshua took this entire land: the hill country,(A) all the Negev,(B) the whole region of Goshen, the western foothills,(C) the Arabah and the mountains of Israel with their foothills, 17 from Mount Halak, which rises toward Seir,(D) to Baal Gad(E) in the Valley of Lebanon(F) below Mount Hermon.(G) He captured all their kings and put them to death.(H) 18 Joshua waged war against all these kings for a long time.
