I remembered the Lord;
My prayer came to you
in your holy temple.(A)

abandon their hope for mercy.(B)
10 But I, with thankful voice,
will sacrifice to you;
What I have vowed I will pay:
deliverance is from the Lord.(C)
Jonah 2:8-10

8 “Those who cling to worthless idols(A)
turn away from God’s love for them.
9 But I, with shouts of grateful praise,(B)
will sacrifice(C) to you.
What I have vowed(D) I will make good.
I will say, ‘Salvation(E) comes from the Lord.’”
