Jonah 1:2-4

2 “Arise, go to (A)Nineveh, that (B)great city, and call out against it, (C)for their evil[a] has come up before me.” 3 But Jonah (D)rose to flee to (E)Tarshish from the presence of the Lord. He went down to (F)Joppa and found a ship going to (G)Tarshish. So he paid the fare and went on board, to go with them to (H)Tarshish, (I)away from the presence of the Lord.
4 But (J)the Lord hurled a great wind upon the sea, and there was a mighty tempest on the sea, so that the ship threatened (K)to break up.

New International Version
2 “Go to the great city of Nineveh(A) and preach against it, because its wickedness has come up before me.”
3 But Jonah ran(B) away from the Lord and headed for Tarshish(C). He went down to Joppa,(D) where he found a ship bound for that port. After paying the fare, he went aboard and sailed for Tarshish to flee from the Lord.(E)
4 Then the Lord sent a great wind on the sea, and such a violent storm arose that the ship threatened to break up.(F)
