(मत्ती 14:22-27; मरकुस 6:45-52)
16 जब साँझ क बेला भइ अउर ओनके सब चेलन झील प चला गएन 17 अउर एक ठु नाव प बइठके वापस झील क पार कफरनहूम क तरफ चला गएन। मजे क अंधेरा होइ ग रहा, मुला ईसू अबहीं तलक लौटिके ओनके सबन क पास नाहीं आवा रहा। 18 तूफानी हवा बहत रही जेकरे कारण झील मँ लहर खूब तेज होत रहिन्ह। 19 जब उ पचे करीब पांच-छ: किलोमीटर आगे चला गएन तउ देखेन कि ईसू झील प चलत अहइ अउर नाव क पास आवत रहा। इ देखिके उ पचे डेराइ गएन। 20 मुला ईसू ओन सबसे कहेस, “इ मइँ अहउ, डेरा जिन।” 21 फिन उ पचे ओका जल्दी स नाव प चढ़ाइ लिएन्ह अउर नाव जल्दी स हुवाँ पहुँच गइ जहाँ ओका जाइ क रहा।

Jesus Walks on the Water(A)
16 When evening came, his disciples went down to the lake, 17 where they got into a boat and set off across the lake for Capernaum. By now it was dark, and Jesus had not yet joined them. 18 A strong wind was blowing and the waters grew rough. 19 When they had rowed about three or four miles,[a] they saw Jesus approaching the boat, walking on the water;(B) and they were frightened. 20 But he said to them, “It is I; don’t be afraid.”(C) 21 Then they were willing to take him into the boat, and immediately the boat reached the shore where they were heading.
