²³ Because of this, the rumor spread among the believers^(A) that this disciple would not die. But Jesus did not say that he would not die; he only said, “If I want him to remain alive until I return, what is that to you?”

³ Brothers and sisters,^(A) choose seven men from among you who are known to be full of the Spirit^(B) and wisdom. We will turn this responsibility over to them^(C)

³⁰ When the believers^(A) learned of this, they took him down to Caesarea^(B) and sent him off to Tarsus.^(C)

²³ Then Peter invited the men into the house to be his guests.

11 The apostles and the believers^(A) throughout Judea heard that the Gentiles also had received the word of God.^(B)

¹² The Spirit told^(A) me to have no hesitation about going with them.^(B) These six brothers^(C) also went with me, and we entered the man’s house.

²⁶ and when he found him, he brought him to Antioch. So for a whole year Barnabas and Saul met with the church and taught great numbers of people. The disciples^(A) were called Christians first^(B) at Antioch.

²⁹ The disciples,^(A) as each one was able, decided to provide help^(B) for the brothers and sisters^(C) living in Judea.

¹⁷ Peter motioned with his hand^(A) for them to be quiet and described how the Lord had brought him out of prison. “Tell James^(B) and the other brothers and sisters^(C) about this,” he said, and then he left for another place.
