John 9:40-41

⁴⁰Some of the Pharisees were nearby, and they heard this.

“So!” they said. “We’re blind too, are we?”

⁴¹“If you were blind,” replied Jesus, “you wouldn’t be guilty of sin. But now, because you say, ‘We can see,’ your sin remains.”

John 9:40-41

⁴⁰Some Pharisees who were with him heard him say this and asked, “What? Are we blind too?”^(A)

⁴¹Jesus said, “If you were blind, you would not be guilty of sin; but now that you claim you can see, your guilt remains.^(B)
