¹³ So the Pharisees said to him, ^(A)“You are bearing witness about yourself; your testimony is not true.” ¹⁴ Jesus answered, “Even if I do bear witness about myself, ^(B)my testimony is true, for I know ^(C)where I came from and ^(D)where I am going, but ^(E)you do not know where I come from or where I am going.

¹⁸ I am the one who bears witness about myself, and ^(A)the Father who sent me bears witness about me.”

⁵⁴ Jesus answered, ^(A)“If I glorify myself, my glory is nothing. ^(B)It is my Father who glorifies me, ^(C)of whom you say, ‘He is our God.’^[a]

²¹ Why do you ask me? Ask those who have heard me what I said to them; they know what I said.”
