John 6:40-42

40 My Father wants everyone who sees his Son and believes in him to live for ever. I will raise him up on the last day.'
41 The leaders of the Jews did not like Jesus to say, `I am the bread that has come down from heaven.'
42 They said, `Is he not Joseph's son, Jesus? We know his father and mother. How can he say, "I have come down from heaven"?'

40 For my Father’s will is that everyone who looks to the Son(A) and believes in him shall have eternal life,(B) and I will raise them up at the last day.”
41 At this the Jews there began to grumble about him because he said, “I am the bread that came down from heaven.” 42 They said, “Is this not Jesus, the son of Joseph,(C) whose father and mother we know?(D) How can he now say, ‘I came down from heaven’?”(E)
