John 6:26-28
Living Bible
26 Jesus replied, “The truth of the matter is that you want to be with me because I fed you, not because you believe in me. 27 But you shouldn’t be so concerned about perishable things like food. No, spend your energy seeking the eternal life that I, the Messiah,[a] can give you. For God the Father has sent me for this very purpose.”
28 They replied, “What should we do to satisfy God?”

New International Version
26 Jesus answered, “Very truly I tell you, you are looking for me,(A) not because you saw the signs(B) I performed but because you ate the loaves and had your fill. 27 Do not work for food that spoils, but for food that endures(C) to eternal life,(D) which the Son of Man(E) will give you. For on him God the Father has placed his seal(F) of approval.”
28 Then they asked him, “What must we do to do the works God requires?”
