New Matthew Bible
7 The sick man answered him, Sir, I have no one to put me into the pool when the water is stirred up. But in the meantime, when I am about to come, another steps down before me. 8 And Jesus said to him, Rise, take up your bed, and walk. 9 And immediately the man was made whole, and took up his bed and walked.
And that day was the Sabbath day.

7 “Sir,” the invalid replied, “I have no one to help me into the pool when the water is stirred. While I am trying to get in, someone else goes down ahead of me.”
8 Then Jesus said to him, “Get up! Pick up your mat and walk.”(A) 9 At once the man was cured; he picked up his mat and walked.
