37 The Father who sent me testifies on my behalf. You have never heard his voice, and you have never seen his form. 38 So you don’t have the Father’s message within you, because you don’t believe in the person he has sent. 39 You study the Scriptures in detail because you think you have the source of eternal life in them. These Scriptures testify on my behalf.

37 And the Father who sent me has himself testified concerning me.(A) You have never heard his voice nor seen his form,(B) 38 nor does his word dwell in you,(C) for you do not believe(D) the one he sent.(E) 39 You study[a] the Scriptures(F) diligently because you think that in them you have eternal life.(G) These are the very Scriptures that testify about me,(H)
