⁴⁸ Jesus told him, “Unless you people see signs and wonders,^(A) you will not believe.”^(B)

²² “Fellow Israelites, listen to these words: This Jesus of Nazareth was a man attested to you by God with miracles, wonders, and signs that God did among you through him, just as you yourselves know.^(A)

⁴³ Everyone was filled with awe, and many wonders and signs were being performed through the apostles.^(A)

Apostolic Signs and Wonders

¹² Many signs and wonders were being done among the people through the hands of the apostles.^(A) They were all together in Solomon’s Colonnade.^(B)

¹³ Even Simon himself believed. And after he was baptized, he followed Philip everywhere and was amazed as he observed the signs and great miracles^(A) that were being performed.

³ So they stayed there a long time and spoke boldly for the Lord, who testified to the message of his grace by enabling them to do signs and wonders.^(A)

¹² The whole assembly became silent and listened to Barnabas and Paul describe all the signs and wonders God had done through them among the Gentiles.^(A)

Many Gifts but One Body

³ For by the grace^(A) given to me, I tell everyone among you not to think of himself more highly than he should think.^(B) Instead, think sensibly, as God has distributed a measure of faith^(C) to each one. ⁴ Now as we have many parts in one body,^(D) and all the parts do not have the same function, ⁵ in the same way we who are many^(E) are one body in Christ^(F) and individually members of one another. ⁶ According to the grace given to us, we have different gifts:^(G) If prophecy,^(H) use it according to the proportion of one’s^[a] faith; ⁷ if service,^(I) use it in service; if teaching,^(J) in teaching; ⁸ if exhorting,^(K) in exhortation; giving, with generosity;^(L) leading,^(M) with diligence; showing mercy, with cheerfulness.^(N)

¹⁹ by the power of miraculous signs and wonders,^(A) and by the power of God’s Spirit. As a result, I have fully proclaimed the gospel of Christ from Jerusalem^(B) all the way around to Illyricum.^[a](C)
