John 4:34-36
New Life Version
34 Jesus said, “My food is to do what God wants Me to do and to finish His work. 35 Do you not say, ‘It is four months yet until the time to gather grain’? Listen! I say to you, open your eyes and look at the fields. They are white now and waiting for the grain to be gathered in. 36 The one who gathers gets his pay. He gathers fruit that lasts forever. The one who plants and the one who gathers will have joy together.

34 “My food,” said Jesus, “is to do the will(A) of him who sent me and to finish his work.(B) 35 Don’t you have a saying, ‘It’s still four months until harvest’? I tell you, open your eyes and look at the fields! They are ripe for harvest.(C) 36 Even now the one who reaps draws a wage and harvests(D) a crop for eternal life,(E) so that the sower and the reaper may be glad together.
