17 Jesus said to her, “Do not cling to me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father; but go to (A)my brothers and say to them, (B)‘I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to (C)my God and your God.’” 18 Mary Magdalene (D)went and announced to the disciples, “I have seen the Lord”—and that he had said these things to her.

19 (E)On the evening (F)of that day, the first day of the week, (G)the doors being locked where the disciples were (H)for fear of the Jews,[a] Jesus came and stood among them and said to them, (I)“Peace be with you.”
