John 19:34-36

34 But one of the soldiers pierced His side with a spear, and immediately (A)blood and water came out. 35 And he who has seen has (B)testified, and his testimony is true; and he knows that he is telling the truth, so that you also may believe. 36 For these things came to pass (C)to fulfill the Scripture, “(D)Not a bone of Him shall be [a]broken.”

34 Instead, one of the soldiers pierced(A) Jesus’ side with a spear, bringing a sudden flow of blood and water.(B) 35 The man who saw it(C) has given testimony, and his testimony is true.(D) He knows that he tells the truth, and he testifies so that you also may believe. 36 These things happened so that the scripture would be fulfilled:(E) “Not one of his bones will be broken,”[a](F)
