John 19:34-36

34 but one of the soldiers with a spear pierced His side, and forthwith there came out blood and water.
35 And he that saw it bore record, and his record is true, and he knoweth that he saith truly, that ye might believe.
36 For these things were done, that the Scripture should be fulfilled: “A bone of Him shall not be broken.”

34 Instead, one of the soldiers pierced(A) Jesus’ side with a spear, bringing a sudden flow of blood and water.(B) 35 The man who saw it(C) has given testimony, and his testimony is true.(D) He knows that he tells the truth, and he testifies so that you also may believe. 36 These things happened so that the scripture would be fulfilled:(E) “Not one of his bones will be broken,”[a](F)
