New International Version

³²This took place to fulfill what Jesus had said about the kind of death he was going to die.^(A)

¹⁹This He spoke, signifying ^(A)by what death he would glorify God. And when He had spoken this, He said to him, ^(B)“Follow Me.”

¹⁹Jesus said this to indicate the kind of death^(A) by which Peter would glorify God.^(B) Then he said to him, “Follow me!”^(C)
