John 15:15-17
New Life Version
15 I do not call you servants that I own anymore. A servant does not know what his owner is doing. I call you friends, because I have told you everything I have heard from My Father. 16 You have not chosen Me, I have chosen you. I have set you apart for the work of bringing in fruit. Your fruit should last. And whatever you ask the Father in My name, He will give it to you.

Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you.(A) 16 You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you(B) so that you might go and bear fruit(C)—fruit that will last—and so that whatever you ask in my name the Father will give you.(D) 17 This is my command: Love each other.(E)
