John 13:20-22

²⁰I tell you the truth. Whoever accepts anyone I send also accepts me. And whoever accepts me also accepts the One who sent me.”

²¹After Jesus said this, he was very troubled. He said openly, “I tell you the truth. One of you will turn against me.”

²²The followers all looked at each other. They did not know whom Jesus was talking about.

²¹After he had said this, Jesus was troubled in spirit^(B) and testified, “Very truly I tell you, one of you is going to betray me.”^(C)

²²His disciples stared at one another, at a loss to know which of them he meant.
