³⁴ So the crowd answered him, “We have heard from the Law that ^(A)the Christ remains for ever. How can you say that ^(B)the Son of Man must be lifted up? Who is this Son of Man?”

²⁵ But ^(A)the word that is written in their Law must be fulfilled: ^(B)‘They hated me without a cause.’

^21 (A)In the Law it is written, ^(B)“By people of strange tongues and by the lips of foreigners will I speak to this people, and even then they will not listen to me, says the Lord.”
