John 12:33-35

33 He said this to signify what kind of death He was about to die.(A)
34 Then the crowd replied to Him, “We have heard from the scripture that the Messiah will remain forever.(B) So how can You say, ‘The Son of Man(C) must be lifted up’?[a] Who is this Son of Man?”
35 Jesus answered, “The light will be with you only a little longer.(D) Walk while you have the light(E) so that darkness doesn’t overtake you.(F) The one who walks in darkness doesn’t know where he’s going.(G)

34 The crowd spoke up, “We have heard from the Law(B) that the Messiah will remain forever,(C) so how can you say, ‘The Son of Man(D) must be lifted up’?(E) Who is this ‘Son of Man’?”
35 Then Jesus told them, “You are going to have the light(F) just a little while longer. Walk while you have the light,(G) before darkness overtakes you.(H) Whoever walks in the dark does not know where they are going.
