³⁹Yeshua says, “Roll away the stone!”

Martha, the dead man’s sister, said to Him, “Master, by this time he stinks! He’s been dead for four days!”

⁴⁰Yeshua says to her, “Didn’t I tell you that if you believed, you would see the glory of God?”

⁴¹So they rolled away the stone. Yeshua lifted up His eyes and said, “Father, I thank you that you have heard Me.

³⁹“Take away the stone,” he said.

“But, Lord,” said Martha, the sister of the dead man, “by this time there is a bad odor, for he has been there four days.”^(A)

⁴⁰Then Jesus said, “Did I not tell you that if you believe,^(B) you will see the glory of God?”^(C)

⁴¹So they took away the stone. Then Jesus looked up^(D) and said, “Father,^(E) I thank you that you have heard me.
