New International Version

¹³Jesus had been speaking of his death, but his disciples thought he meant natural sleep.^(A)

¹³Howbeit Jesus spake of his death: but they thought that he had spoken of taking of rest in sleep.

¹⁰But Paul went down, fell on him, embraced him, and said, “Don’t be alarmed, for his life is in him!”^(A)

¹⁰Paul went down, threw himself on the young man^(A) and put his arms around him. “Don’t be alarmed,” he said. “He’s alive!”^(B)

¹⁰And Paul went down, and fell on him, and embracing him said, Trouble not yourselves; for his life is in him.
