³⁴Jesus answered them, “Is it not written in your Law,^(A) ‘I have said you are “gods”’^[a]?^(B)

²⁵But ^(A)the word that is written in their Law must be fulfilled: ^(B)‘They hated me without a cause.’

²⁵But this is to fulfill what is written in their Law:^(A) ‘They hated me without reason.’^[a]^(B)
