¹⁵ John *^(A)bore witness about Him and cried out, saying, “This was He of whom I said, ‘^(B)He who comes after me ^[a]has been ahead of me, ^(C)for He existed before me.’”

¹⁹ And this is ^(A)the witness of John, when ^(B)the ^[a]Jews sent to him priests and Levites ^(C)from Jerusalem to ask him, “Who are you?”

²⁶ And they came to John and said to him, “^(A)Rabbi, He who was with you ^(B)beyond the Jordan, to whom you ^(C)have borne witness, behold, He is baptizing and all are coming to Him.”
