3 They played games to win my people.
They gave boys to buy women to have sex with them.
They sold girls so that they could get wine to drink.
4 You people in Tyre, Sidon, and of all the land of the people called Philistines, listen. You cannot say that I have done anything wrong. You want to punish me. If you do this, I will soon do the same to you. 5 You took my silver and my gold, and you put all my riches in your temples.

3 They cast lots(A) for my people
and traded boys for prostitutes;
they sold girls for wine(B) to drink.
4 “Now what have you against me, Tyre and Sidon(C) and all you regions of Philistia?(D) Are you repaying me for something I have done? If you are paying me back, I will swiftly and speedily return on your own heads what you have done.(E) 5 For you took my silver and my gold and carried off my finest treasures to your temples.[a](F)
