2 I will gather all the nations and bring them down to the valley of Jehoshaphat. There I will judge them for what they did to My people Israel. They have sent My people out among the different nations, and have divided up My land. 3 They have drawn names to see who would get My people. They have traded a boy for a woman who sells the use of her body. And they have sold a girl for wine to drink. 4 What are you to Me, O Tyre, Sidon, and all the lands of Philistia? Are you paying Me back for something? If you are, I will be quick to pay you back!

2 I will gather(A) all nations
and bring them down to the Valley of Jehoshaphat.[a](B)
There I will put them on trial(C)
for what they did to my inheritance, my people Israel,
because they scattered(D) my people among the nations
and divided up my land.
3 They cast lots(E) for my people
and traded boys for prostitutes;
they sold girls for wine(F) to drink.
4 “Now what have you against me, Tyre and Sidon(G) and all you regions of Philistia?(H) Are you repaying me for something I have done? If you are paying me back, I will swiftly and speedily return on your own heads what you have done.(I)
