2 I will gather all the nations, and I will bring them to the Jehoshaphat Valley. There I will enter into judgment with them in support of my people and my possession, Israel, which they have scattered among the nations. They have divided my land, 3 and have cast lots for my people. They have traded boys for prostitutes, and sold girls for wine, which they drank down. 4 What are you to me, Tyre and Sidon, and all the regions of Philistia? Are you paying me back for something? If you are paying me back, then in a flash I will turn your deeds back upon your own heads.

2 I will gather(A) all nations
and bring them down to the Valley of Jehoshaphat.[a](B)
There I will put them on trial(C)
for what they did to my inheritance, my people Israel,
because they scattered(D) my people among the nations
and divided up my land.
3 They cast lots(E) for my people
and traded boys for prostitutes;
they sold girls for wine(F) to drink.
4 “Now what have you against me, Tyre and Sidon(G) and all you regions of Philistia?(H) Are you repaying me for something I have done? If you are paying me back, I will swiftly and speedily return on your own heads what you have done.(I)
