¹¹ The Lord raises His voice^(A)
in the presence of His army.^(B)
His camp is very large;
Those who carry out His command are powerful.^(C)
Indeed, the Day of the Lord is terrible and dreadful^(D)—
who can endure it?^(E)

¹² Even now—
this is the Lord’s declaration—
turn to Me with all your heart,^(F)
with fasting, weeping, and mourning.^(G)
13 Tear your hearts,^(H)
not just your clothes,^(I)
and return to the Lord your God.
For He is gracious and compassionate,
slow to anger, rich in faithful love,
and He relents from sending disaster.^(J)
