His camp is very large;
those who carry out his command are powerful.^(C)
Indeed, the day of the Lord is terrible and dreadful^(D)—
who can endure it?^(E)

³¹ The sun will be turned to darkness
and the moon to blood^(A)
before the great and terrible day of the Lord comes.^(B)

¹⁸ Woe to you who long for the day of the Lord!^(A)
What will the day of the Lord be for you?
It will be darkness and not light.^(B)
